New book about digital practices of youth

 

Fundación Ceibal in collaboration with Digitally Connected, the Instituto de la Comunicación e Imagen de la Universidad de Chile, the Facultad de Comunicación e Información de la Universidad de la República and GECTI de la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad de los Andes (Colombia), had published the book “Jóvenes, transformación digital y formas de inclusión en América Latina”.

Can digital technologies be considered platforms for integration or exclusion? How is the online  the behavior of children and youth? Which experiences of digital media for social inclusion exist in the region?

A region with multiple voices. This book emerges from an open call for contributions that received almost 400 applications from 28 countries. The book has different type of content going from essays and reflexions, work experiences and academic papers.

The authors have diverse profiles including policy makers, teachers, NGO leaders, academics and professionals. It has six temathics and 34 articles. Will be shared the next days through Penguin Random House under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0.
