A number of activities have been carried out ever since IDRC Canada began providing financial backing for ADELA. Some of the most notable efforts in this regard have been the online group and individual meetings, where representatives of each country’s digital education departments try to address their needs by using resources and data provided by the network’s other members. For example, Plan Ceibal currently provides all network countries with its own technical knowledge, giving access to their open educational resources and knowledge on the implementation of digital educational projects, and training teachers in the field of digital education.
Each instance has helped to expand the public digital education policymaker network, establishing communication mechanisms for the exchange of responses and resources in order to address identified challenges.
Representatives from Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala, Mexico, Nicaragua, Paraguay, Peru and Uruguay have participated in these activities.
