Education Sector Found “Digital Inclusion: Education with New Horizons”

The Ceibal Foundation, together with the National Research and Innovation Agency (ANII), implements the Education Sector Fund, modality “Digital Inclusion: Education with New Horizons” (FSED). The aim of this initiative is to provide funding for research projects that contribute original data with respect to existing knowledge in the field of teaching and learning mediated by digital technologies.

The FSED is aimed at research groups based in national or international, public or private institutions, which facilitates the generation of partnerships with institutions in other countries and enhances the impact of the projects, both in Uruguay and abroad.

The first edition of the FSED was in 2015. To date, it has funded and supported 63 national and international research projects in the field of education and technology.
